André Luis Alves Neves, Researcher, University of Copenhagen, Denmark, The Department of Agriculture, Food, and Nutritional Sciences, University of Alberta, Canada, and the National Institute of Agricultural Research, Brazil, jointly trained the doctor. By studying the short- and long-term effects of diets on the intestinal structure and function of ruminants to improve well-being and animal production, the main research direction in recent years has been to screen high-efficiency carbohydrate active enzymes from the rumen microbiome with the aim of increasing the lignocellulosic degradation rate and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. He has published more than 50 papers in international authoritative academic journals such as Microbiome, Annual Reviews of Animal Biosciences, and Journal of Dairy Science.
