Luo Jun, born in October 1965, was born in Fufeng, Shaanxi Province. He is a professor and doctoral supervisor. In 1985, he graduated from the Department of Animal Husbandry of Northwest Agricultural University with a bachelor's degree. In 1988, he graduated from Northwest Agricultural University with a master's degree. In 1994, he received his doctorate in animal genetics and breeding from Northwest Agricultural University. In 1990, he went to the Netherlands for technical training and cooperative research on goat production and dairy processing. He went to the American Institute for Goat at Langston University in the United States from 1997 to 1999 and from 2000 to 2003. Research on dairy goat production and performance of Boer goat meat, the nutritional needs of goats, and some molecular genetics He is currently engaged in research on breeding methods for dairy goats, mechanisms of fatty acid synthesis and metabolism in goat milk, and the protection and utilization of goat germplasm resources.
