Prof. Otto Kaufmann is a tenured professor at the School of Life Sciences, Humboldt University Berlin, Germany. He was the Dean of the School of Agronomy, Horticulture, and Animal Sciences at Humboldt University Berlin from 2006 to 2018 and a member of the Organizing Committee of the International Commission for the Cultivation of Young Ruminants.The research contents include animal production, animal precision feeding, quality control in the process of animal production, etc. His research areas include the analysis, prediction, and modeling of precise animal feeding; animal welfare and behavior; and how animals interact with their environment. At present, he is a world-renowned dairy industry expert and honorary professor at universities in 10 countries around the world. With their own pasture, they can produce 12 tons per cow on a diet of 10 percent corn and no soybean meal.
