Leluo Guan

    Leluo Guan, Associate Dean, Faculty of Agriculture, Life, and Environmental Sciences, University of Alberta, Canada; Professor, Department of Agri-Food and Nutrition; and an internationally renowned expert in microbiology and functional genomics. She is research interests include the use of the metagenome, metagenomics, and other functional genomics methods to study the molecular mechanisms of interactions between bovine digestive tract microecology and host feed efficiency, methane emission, and digestive tract development. Research was published in Genome Biology, Microbiome, FEMS Microbial Ecology, Applied and Environmental Microbiology, and other international authoritative academic journals, and more than 360 SCI papers were published. Total citations over 14,000; H-index 37. She now deputy editor of Microbiome and Animal Microbiome.
